The Smithfield show will have bantams, large fowl, ducks, probably turkey and geese also. I just don't know what there will be for sale.

I can't find a start time on the Smithfield show... I do want to be there early... What time does it start and what time should I plan on arriving?

Had a lovely visit from kraftyladies this week, but she has headed back to Florida now. Sigh. But I won't be alone for long...Hubby returns from his business trip tonight. He's been in Okinawa all week working hard while Susan and I were having a grand time. And starting tomorrow, he gets t start digging holes for all the plants I've brought home! Going back for more today, actually. I couldn't fit them all in the car the other day, so I'm driving the pick-up. Was thrilled to find some of the fruit trees I wanted and thought I'd have to order, standing out there at Big Bloomers! They'll come home today. Might grab a few other fun things that I considered the other day and didn't get.

Looks like tonight is the last dip into the 30's, and it's all uphill from here! Waiting to see tent caterpillars...then I know it's spring for sure!

I've tried researching and can't find good answers to this. If I want to sell at a flock swap or show , what's the best/proper way to do it? Like cage set up, water, is a tent needed? Things like that??

Good morning folks

Hollowoak.........I will have to take you with me next
time I go up to Plants Delight for open house. I went
just this weekend for their winter open house and drooled
over all the different Lentin Roses they had blooming.
They have some unique things and they field test
everything there.

You should go to one or two and see how others do it. Shade in hot weather is important...and not everyone provides it. Water is important. Again, not everyone provides it.

2:00 am? Not sleeping well? Your knee must be hurting. :(

I have been to Plant Delights once. My companion gave me directions, and I don't remember where it was! I should google it.

Spring break is over. Back to work for me!

I have a friend in Youngsville (Raleigh area) looking for an Ameraucana Rooster. Anyone?

What color do they want? I'll be getting Wheaten/Blue Wheatens in a couple weeks, and am sure I'll have an extra cockerel or two. (yes, FVRM, you, too!) They will be chicks, though. BHep might have BBS Ameraucanas. I don't know anyone else off hand who has them. Lots of EEs out there if your friend wants one of those, but that's likely only one blue egg gene.
