What color do they want? I'll be getting Wheaten/Blue Wheatens in a couple weeks, and am sure I'll have an extra cockerel or two. (yes, FVRM, you, too!) They will be chicks, though. BHep might have BBS Ameraucanas. I don't know anyone else off hand who has them. Lots of EEs out there if your friend wants one of those, but that's likely only one blue egg gene.

Okay, I got some clarification from her. She is interested in any type of Easter Egger and a chick is fine (maybe preferable, since she just got several female chicks). Are you ever up in the Raleigh area?

I've got two EE chicks (about 4 weeks old) looking for new homes. One white, one brown. Their combs seem to be turning pink, so I'm thinking they're roos. I'm on the west side of the Raleigh area.

Coopscoop has lavender (self blue) ameraucanas.

Thanks for letting me know! I wasn't aware she had those.

I go up there occasionally. Maybe it will time out. If CSB has lavs, she likely has EE cockerels, too. And doubleatraining, who is in Franklinton, probably has those.

Didn't finish my pens yet, but I DID finish the hinged lid for my water trough brooder! :)

ill hopefully be hatching some EE eggs on easter. these guys are from my own flock, and its a test to see how the chicks hatch out. ill have about 12 set, and im going to sell all the offspring. I have a roo on his mom and 3 of his siblings. his mom is an OE, originally bred to a Japanese bantam to make him and his hens. the hens lay light blue and brown. if anyone is interested, please let me know. ill be selling chicks POL, around 4-5 months of age.

here are the parents: (the orange is their mom)

(not an accurate coloration due to the lighting and the picture)

if the chicks hatch out all nice, ill be selling them older :) theres been a 1/3 chance of a single comb, which comes from the Japanese. those birds lay the brown. the pea comb lay a light green- brown color. they are a bit bigger than bantams, smaller than LF, all super sweet temperaments.

again, if your interested, let me know. ill also most likely be selling these eggs too around july :)
