ENC here, east of Greenville. Freezing rain, ice coated last night. Temp rose to 34°F, trees are still covered in ice. Now we're getting a wintry mix, with wind. Hopefully we won't lose any trees.

Both flocks are roosting dry in their hoop coops.

We are iced over, still have power, but trees and branches are popping and cracking.
It's supposed to get colder and the wind pick up, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Y'all check in if you can. We are iced over and something is falling from the sky, I just opened the door far enough to let the dog out. Thank the Lord we still have power.

We had a balmy 9* this morning. My ducks and goose poured out of their coop to just turn around and go back inside. Thankfully, their little brains do work some.

Wilmington here. We are lucky enough that today is the first day below freezing in this winter storm. This morning was 20 and the high today is 40.

All cold weather looking ahead and snow is expected over the weekend.
