She is well fed, not to sure on the breed she ran off and hid in the woods so I could not see her to well. I am glad he found a good home it is hard to find someone to take hounds. I love hounds along with every other breed of dog

I love all breeds of dogs too but I don't want someones dog hanging around my home when i have ducks & chickens, if I can find out who they belong to I'll contact the owner if not then if I can do it they go to the shelter. It's too scary to have a dog you know nothing about hanging around. Maybe if she has a collar you can find out who she belongs too, one time there was 2 guys looking for their hunting dog and they lived 2 counties away.

chickensioux~~you made it!! so good to see you here

Just got off the phone with a dear friend~~they had a bit of a tragedy~~the brooder light in their spare bedroom caught fire, fell into the brooder, and they lost 2 little fuzzy butts. Seems the heat lamp bulb exploded; a bit of fire damage to the wood floor. Thank God they were home today (MLK day) because it could have been soooo much worse. I have 4 heat lamps in my barn and I am anxious over them every night....

Chickensioux~~I don't know if you read back on this thread, but gavinandallison are going to have a donation jar set up for the Waterfowl place. Gavin does volunteer work there everyfriday...I can't remember where, but they posted a pic of Allison holding the rooster (I'm horrible with names..sorry, but he's famous)

It is the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, which is a 5 minute drive from me!! They desperately need funds to help care for the birds that come in. And yes, they do have chickens!

Chickensioux, guess you have been to their sanctuary?

There is no fee to come be a spectator at the show. The only fees are if you are entering birds. Hope that answers your question.
