that would be interesting to follow and see if it was a pure breed or a mix.

You'll have me worried now.....mites, lice, and parasites
th.gif
I was in the process of making a tall table with a small top that I could permanently attach a large magnifying glass to....even with my glasses on, I'm afraid I'll miss the tiny buggars when I check the birds. They're more comfortable "standing" for an inspection, plus, I get to check ALL their parts more easily. With the barn well insulated, and heated, I've been worried about mites. I use Ivermectin on all the birds once a month....but it's still quite possible.

HenThymes~~congrats on the new buffs

Hi all, hope everyone had a good/productive day!

I've been working on the website....I swear that'll be the death of me.

Speaking of mealworms, I can order mealworms, crickets, butterworms, and red worms at cost, so if anyone needs some to start up their own population or if you just want to feed them but not keep them in house, let me know. I'll give them to you for the price that I pay for them.

Thats alot of fish EM, Do you have a store or do you do this out of your home? I love salt water aquariums.

Well BC, I'm getting worried about gavin after he said he was going to chew off his toe nails , you don't think he got toe main posioning do you?

I actually used to run a store in Florida. When I moved up here I swore off all fish related endeavors...you see how well that worked out! I started maintaining an aquariums as a favor to a friend, and things went from there. I do tank maintenance now, and supply my customers with any livestock they need or want. I also sell to the general public from my website, but less often. I do have a building, but it's not open to the general public. I keep my livestock that's quarantined and my supplies there. The website kills me though, because I have to update it each week with a new list of fish.

Do you have a saltwater aquarium? If you don't...I know somebody who cans et you one up at cost!

Good news for me & my birds, bad news for the bugs... I did a check of a bunch of the birds and not a mite or lice in sight. Good O'l Adams Flea & Tick Spray to the rescue, I will still retreat this weekend. Just in case, I don't want to get lazy again.
Today is the second day that have let everyone free range together. It went so well its scary. But what a beautiful colorfull sight. 50 plus out. Comets, Silkies, EE, Polish, Cochin, Austrorps, BR, Wyandottes, Serama, and a bunch of little mixed bantams. I have to sit outside tomorrow with my camera.

you must have some really nice weather BHep to be sitting outside with your birds. Mine would like to free range but we still have snow covering just about all the ground and more for tonight

Em thanks for the offer but my obsession with my ducks, chickens and goose, plus dogs is about all I can handle for the moment. I do have a small pond out side that has pond goldfish in it, or it did until my pump went out back during the last big freeze and the pond is frozen solid, I am very worried that my fish are frozen too.

I've seen Goldfish survive the winter in a frozen pond. As long as they have enough air, they are good.

Allabout, same offer to you. Just let me know. I sell freshwater fish too, I just don't list them on my site because there isn't a huge demand for them and it'd be an insane amount of fish.

Poor Rooster and Hen.
