Is anyone in the Triad, Lexington, Asheboro areas on here? Just curious.

FYI - I will hopefully have some Silkie and Cochin bantam chicks (among others?) in the spring, so feel free to let me know if anyone is looking for them locally!

I hear there is a show coming up soon...Morganton?
I'm not sure I caught the details but maybe I need to look into this...

Good morning neighbors

hubby is feeling better this morning

but that means he'll probably head to Charlotte.

Forecast is for another beautiful day~~hoping to get outside and do a bit of gardening (the chores I was SUPPOSE to do in the Fall, but Winter hit to quick

)

My 4 brooder chicks are extremely upset with me~~I had the audacity to move their waterer and they want it back where they think it belongs.

Haven't had any repeat visits from the juvenile hawk

Did you'll see Matt A's post about "volunteer day" for the Morganton show? I tried to make it last time, but couldn't...hoping to make it this year.

Well, all the Silkie boys~~Pappa, Sgt.Pepper, Spartacus, Nate, Cowboy, Doozey, and Frank--are crowing up at storm for breakfast, so I'd better get busy.

Morn'n everyone!!

The chicks are doing wonderful today. All of the lavender orps went to a new home last night so I am now down to 18 (all bantam orps).

Have about 10 more bantam orps going into lockdown again on Tuesday.

We had beautiful weather yesterday, still snow piled up though, you don't think its waiting around for more do ya? p.s. glad to hear hubby is feeling better BC!

Good Morning BYC!!!!! Seems every time DW or I change Ray and Brunswick's water they toss shavings or poo in it b4 they even drink. Really just annoying. Anyone use nipples or the bell waterers? Thinking of going cup less for all ..... Seems I gotta run, Conan wants his breakfast today! Hope everyone can enjoy the heatwave.
