They will be Orps Wyon and leg horns. No Bantams...

I wouldn't go below 3sqft per bird. On those freaky occassions when we get snowed in for a day or two your birds are going to be stuck in the coop with each other. I'm ready to strangle my husband after a few days with him, dogs and cats! Imagine how the birds feel!

I have some birds that I need to rehome. I will NOT list them under the BST area because I don't want them to just go to the highest bidder. I want them to go to good safe homes that I can trust they will be taken care of.

Their pictures are on the ForSale page of my Website. http://foothillspoultry.weebly.com/forsale.html

The
first pair is Spot and WrongWay. I would like $15 for the pair. They are small but are outside, cold hardy birds.
*Spot is a runt Cream Light Brown Dutch Cockerel. He was never sick, but stayed small. He didn't seem to grow at all till about 4 weeks old. He was a zippy little thing that I almost stepped on a few times when he would dart under a leave. He is a nice little man to his women, but does not like to be held or petted. He is not aggresive at all, but does like to dance at people that pet him and do it constantly just to see him be MACHO. My Dutch line has a fault in that the males DO NOT have spurs. Spot weighs 13-14 ounces and is full grown. Being a runt he may be infertile. Born July 5, 2010
*WrongWay is a head strong little gal who needs an enclosed coop. She roams out of my fenced yard and that is going to lead to her death. It is best to let her go with Spot to a place where she will be protected. She is currently laying 4-5 peewee size eggs per week. She is 3/4 Dutch and 1/4 Faverolle. She looks almost like a Blue Cream Light Brown Dutch, but her color is off and she has a tiny beard. She is about 16 ounces.

The second pair is a Cochin Cock and a Mixed Pullet. These are Free to a good home. These have not been petted and then girl is rather high strung right now. They would need some work to be pets. They were given to me in the hope that I could find them a good home.
*The Roo looks to be very nice quality as far shape and structure, but is from mixed colors. He looks like a Mottled with bad neck feathers.
* I was told the Pullet is a Cochin/Hamburg cross and that she was laying. The move has stopped that, but she should start if she can get settled in a new home.

If interested in any of the above or if you want more info or pics just email me. They can be picked up here just west of Morganton or brought to the Unifour Show at the Burke County Fairgrounds on March 5th.
