Another gorgeous day. Got lots done yesterday but why is it when there is a fire going it instantly turns into a party?!? Gotta clear lots of brush and small limbs from all the trees we've cut down and just getting the fire going again now. We'll see if more folks show up today.

Chicks Chicks Chicks!!! I woke up to an early hatch! 3 so far and 1 egg to go. I have no idea which are which... my pens have mixed colors so I have no idea what they will look like when they are feathered out.

everyone!! My Sunday afternoon update for you: the blueprints are almost done!! The painting has been put off until tomorrow. Not sure if the DD is ill or just going through a growth spurt but she's not interested in doing anything but cuddling, sleeping & eating. Can't get much painting done that way....and there's NO WAY I am asking the DH, for he's working on the blueprints so we can get our materials ordered. We have company coming this weekend, and they have offered to help, if we have the materials and such!!

praying it all goes well!! It's a GORGEOUS day out today...I hope all of your chickies are enjoying the super sunshine and cloudless day!! For those of you doing yard work...

I hope you at least are enjoying the bright sunshine!! I'm off to cuddle!
