Silly rain and temp flux, my poor Andy sneezed on me last night. Duramicin in the water this morning for all! Shoelace sneezed at me too! Conan shows no signs and his trio band seems ok too... Boys are loving the sun shine and scratching! Lil lil babies are growing! Maybe after golf, DW will help me get a line up photo of them for y'all! Enjoy the sun shine and good day!

The incubator just got plugged back in.............. couldn't resist it any longer.

I asked Sandy if Sheba had been with any roo's before she came to us, the answer was yes, a splash, so eggs will be going in to the incubator in the morning!I think 12 hours should be long enough to bring it up to temp, don't y'all agree???????????

I am an incubating addict!

Crazy major progress today and we're so excited! We are ready to get our coop in position next weekend with the help of lots of man power so we can get started on the run.

SO HERE'S MY BIG QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS: Being in a suburban neighborhood with my chickens locked up tight at night do I have to do full hardware cloth instead of the smallest chicken wire??? It is so much more expensive!!! I'm having a hard time convincing my husband that it is necessary and in his arguments I've ended up being not fully convinced. He's a very good arguer.

Do all of you guys use exclusively hardware cloth???

Oh, and NH - I'm betting TEETHING! Hope she's feeling better!
