I think I might have to see if my SIL from the UK can sneak a few chicks to us when she visits!! What do you all think?? They're coming in August...she could SO sneak a few on the plane and NO ONE would EVER notice...

Gavin - What adorable chicks!! Also, my DH said he'll talk to you more about helping...once he's finished with this coop/run....

and his body heals!! Don't know why his body is sore though, I'm the one that had the wall crush my fingers and got all the scrapes!!

And sorry to hear bout the folks in the accident! How are they doing!?

I candled last night at 7 days and things are looking good! 3 duds - cracked them open to be sure and luckily they were! There are a few more I'm not to sure about but decided to give them a few more days. Not much work going on our coop/run this weekend - too much basketball for DH to watch.

Have any of you used the brinsea ecoglo??? I was thinking it might be a nice safe idea with my little one running around. Whatchya all think?

I just found out my mom is not allergic to the silkies

We have been without internet all night and till about 9:15 stupid storm nocked it out.

Well thats great to hear allabout. My friend aint allergic to chickens, but shes allergic to the feed

We have hatching.... We have hatching!!!!!

Went to go check on the girls and our little chicks and there is a cochin egg all pipped and zipped. I feel so bad they are hatching on such a cold cold day.

Will check on them regularly throughout the day and be back with pictures as soon as I remember to grab my camera next time!!!!
