Now my satalite is out of allignment. WHATEVER ! JUST FIX IT!!!!!

HT I picked up some Duramycin-10... it is a water soluble powder. Do you by chance know the dosage. It reads on package for 12-100 gallon dosages. I hope I am never making that much at a time

I want to write the dosage on the label and add it to my first aid kit. Going to Tractor Supply tomorrow, I hope to find Tylan , b-12 and vita -electrolytes. I wish I could walk into ONE store and find everything.... I feel like I am on a treasure hunt

The Tylan I saw was injectable, does it come water soluble also ?

Wonder if there is a website that I could just order everything at once ?? Anyone????


It is soooo hot and there are 2 wildfires and 1 controled burn that I heard about on the radio, the air is thick with smoke.

Praying no-one loses their homes etc.

BHep: I have a tendency to get things I have to order from either http://www.jefferslivestock.com or http://www.cutlersupply.com/, though cultler's prices seem to have gone up again.

I am lucky that my local feed store(Belle Farm ) is better stocked then any feedstore in the state.

Came back to say, I found all the info here on BYC. Just had to dig further. I got dosages written down.


Now, I hope I never need to use any of this stuff

Did you know ?????? That CRD can be transmitted through the egg!!!! Or did I read that wrong????

Mind passing along all your dosage info here, Bhep???? The smoke sure is thick at my house, too! It even smells smoky in the house! Hope the chickens are ok inhaling all this mess. Hadn't heard about the controlled burns - thought it was all from the Dare County mess. I have lots of family there and am there a good bit - sad to lose so much wildlife sanctuary and hope no one loses their home!!! Thanks for those sites, Matt! Hope all hatches go well!! Oh, and HT - saw some PRICEY chocolate orps just sold on bidbird and thought of you!

Sure...


Duramycin - 10 this is a water soluble powder, come in a 6.4oz package. I paid $5.75 at the tack/feed store.

3/4 tsp per quart of water....made fresh everyday. I suppose this is for 1 or just a couple of birds.
OR
1 tsp per gallon will = 400mg dose
2 tsp per gallon will = 800mg dose

Package say to treat 7-14 days.... I have not been able to confirm that on BYC.

1/4 cc (or ml...same thing) for bantam
1/2 cc for LF

given orally for 3 days.

I always give Tylan 50 as an injectable. That reminds me the last time I needed Syringes I got them from Revival. They have the smaller 25 guage short needles that I like for the bantams if needed.

Edited to add that I origianally used Revival cause I had a $5 off coupon and they were doing 1 cent shipping, but I did like their selection and they have Oxine for cheaper then most.
