So after having a really crappy day yesterday...one of our dogs..killed Glenda my Cornish cross pullet. Some good things did happen

We completely re did our coops to separate all my different breeds, and to give everyone more space...I found out that I have 4 girls laying not just the 2 that I thought were laying, so I have 1 brown egg, 1 white egg, 1 blue egg and 1 tiny tinted bantam egg. Woohoo

Yeh it was very sad, but she was a loner, she wouldn't stay with the other chickens and would raise such a fuss that I just let her. Be by herself in the front yard. The other chickens would all go visit her but for the most part she was alone. Normally Twilight is put up at night but we couldn't find him and now we know why. Im so glad u got ur goat

as soon as he could Hunter had people over to see"his" chickens, lol. I love the little Cochin roos they ride around on my shoulders.

but I am glad to hear about all the eggs you are getting!!

We brought home a puppy Sunday

She is a 9 week old great pyrenees

and already 24 pounds

We named her Brie. The man had been raising them outside so we have been working with her really hard to get her use to normal house hold life, LOL When we brought her home she was terrified of EVERYTHING! While we where there picking her up we also got a turkey poult to keep ours company

Anyway today has been a sad yet crazy day. I wake up and go to feed the turkeys to find our new poult dead

When I am on my way to dig a hole for the poult I find our cat dead!

Whatever killed him bit him on the neck in one spot, I am not sure what would of done this

So now as I am digging the hole for our cat the realtor calls my mom and says they want to show the house in 2 hours!

As I finnish up outside my mom starts inside. The house is a wreck because I have been feeling like crap with my allergies, so I haven't been helping out with cleaning lately

We got the house clean just in time and go out and drive around for 45 minutes. Brie gets sick in the car and made a mess everywhere

So I run into DQ to get some napkins to cleanup the mess, thankfully we had her in a crate. Once we got home I had to give her a bath, which she was NOT fond of

We ended up going back out later pick up some food at the store and got home right before 9. So it was just starting to get dark. While we are coming up the drive way we almost run over our one BO pullet who is sitting in the middle of the road, she blends right in with the dirt! I thought it was weird she was that far down so I start looking around. Our turkey poult is gone and so is our hamburg

I give up I am telling you we have mutant raccoons or something! Thank You for letting me rant a little

I am so sorry allabout that you are having so much problems. Hopefully you sell the place soon and can move to somewhere with less predator problems and it's your dream home taboot
