Went to a small swap today, sold 10/15 birds I brought with me.
Off to the auction tomorrow... bringing 60ish. Lots of chicks & roos and a few mixed hens. Cleaning house !!!!!
I still have some growing out and will be selling more in a few weeks.
I have some replacement swap eggs on their way...then waiting on some frizzled & silked serama eggs and then I am shutting down the big incubator. I know........... I have said it before, but now it is time. I have been running one tray for a couple of weeks now.
OOOooo and Coop Scoop is bringing me some eggs tomorrow too....
It has been crazy here that I haven't been able to get on much. I have some good news tho! Our turkey poult that we thought was gone came back the next day!
She slept on top of the car, I didn't even know she could fly that high
We had three showings of our house in two weeks and an offer! Sadly we couldn't meet on the price. At least there are people still looking in our price range
Does anyone have any ideas on making a shy puppy more sociable?
Brie just slinks around every where. She flipped over her food bowl last night so now she will not eat or drink our of that bowl *sigh* She also just sits in the corner by herself in another room, I hate seeing her like this she is terrified of EVERYTHING!
Allabout.... All I can say is patience, patience etc... let her eat from the floor around the bowl, until she realizes that the bowl is "ok". Good luck ! Cesar Milan has good videos & books out dog whispering.
I have some button quail that have been trying to drown themselves in a bottle cap
Put in a tiny hamster water bottle and they taught themselves to drink from it. WHY haven't I thought of that before..... I am going to switch EVERYONE over to water bottles...no more cleaning shavings form the waters 20 times a day.
Morning fellow NCers
I have justed posted about the Blue Silver Fox rabbits that I have which are ready for new homes. They are all too cute and wish I could keep them all but don't have the space. If you know of anyone looking for a friendly rare rabbit let me know.
