How do they do with lots of handling and kids? My neighbor does kids shows and magic stuff and uses rabbits. They are sweet and I rabbit sit often with their other animals and they're all big sweet babies. The rabbits only are in the act so long, then they are retired to the rabbits hutches where they get to live out their days as family pets. I wanted to send them your link just in case they are interested because they don't have any rabbits that look like them.

I just posted an ad on Craigslist for our Splash Polish rooster. He has been a bit aggressive toward our other roosters - his brood-mates, unfortunately, and we now need to find him a home. He is fine with humans and has no problems being handled. We are just SE of Asheville, maybe 15 miles. Although I put a price, he is free to a good home. If you know of someone who wants him, please let me know. He is the white chicken on the left.

I have a single chick who hatched Friday night/Saturday morning out of 13 eggs, and I don't have any other chicks to put with it...it is eating and drinking and loves to snuggle, but will literally peep all night long bc it is lonely...I have given it a stuffed animal and some of my really fluffy socks to curl up with as I desperately search for someone with less than week old babies but its not interested, nor am I having any luck. Any suggestions? Anyone near Surry County that has any new babies I could come get?

Thanks
Amy

I have a single that hatched Friday too! So far so good, it only cried a tiny bit when I put it in the brooder. Like you it has a little stuffed animal and I also put a disposable duster pad in with it. Seems to be eating and drinking just fine! I have some others due the end of this week so hopefully it will be till I can get her some friends.

Pittsboro NC here....

Anyone local looking to give a nice home to a sweet boy....one of my 16 week 'pullets' tried to crow this morning! He gets carried and petted each day, so he is very tame and sweet...we just aren't allowed to have chickens and I don't think we'll be able to hide a Roo!!

I have 2 other easter eggers Eileen (with a club foot and half wing) and Lady Fuzzworth, and three Barred Rocks - Sara Jane, Olivia, and Trouble!
