I am super jealous and love it! Love the Polish - - - hope they're laying again the next time I have a broody!!!!!!!!
big_smile.png
Which unfortunately, my blue Marans was doing the hanging out all day in the nesting box and plucking out a few feathers bit yesterday...
hmm.png
Isnt' it too cold for anyone to be thinking about going broody!?!?

Terribly tired. Crazy 13 month old climbed out of his crib tonight and fell. I've been trying to let him "cry it out" and whatnot because the little booger still won't sleep through the night and I NEED SOME SLEEP!!! So now whenever he makes a peep tonight I'm sure I'll be running in his room immediately to make sure he doesn't break his rotten little neck!!!!!!! KIDS!!!!

Good night everyone and wish me luck.

Morning all

Yikes ! I am tired, but have to get a move on it.
hmm.png
Chores & Church. Then I need to start moving coops around to clear out the next work section. 7 more coops will go in the back of the barn and 2 big coops to be built last. Then to move everyone in and THEN figure out who stays & who goes.
sad.png
That will be a hard decision.

SCM... I told you broody was contagious.

Good Morning Everyone.
Today is suppose to be promising as it's suppose to be sunny and warm...my how I miss the warmth!! I thought I would be warm no matter what being pregnant and all - you know like I was last year in the summer...nope, this time around I am cold no matter the temperature!!
lau.gif
DH almost died the other night when it was in the mid 70's and I was walking around all bundled up. This little one is sucking all my heat!!

I cannot empathize with you, as my DD has slept through the night since day 1 (please don't hate me...just remember #2 will make up for it, I am SURE) but I do understand the importance of sleep.
fl.gif
I hope you are able to catch up on some!!
hit.gif
I am so sorry your little gymnast figured out how to escape from the crib. Did he get a nasty bump, or was he okay? Just know I am sending you many many hugs to help you make it through the night/day!!
smile.png

BHep - I seriously cannot wait to see your finished set up!! Everything looks GREAT!! Good luck deciding who goes and who stays...I am sure your children will have a say as well!!
gig.gif
Just out of curiosity....what happened with the big chicken building, are you not allowed to use it or are you still waiting for the guy to take care of his stuff?? I was wondering why you didn't use that building (being bigger than your barn and all) instead of the barn so you could have MORE pens and therefore keep MORE chickens!!
hide.gif
I am just trying to help you keep as many as you can!!

G&A -

I am sorry your flock is going through a molt!! Can I tease you and say
tongue2.gif
mine are still laying?? Although I will admit, I went from 6 a day down to 1-3, but still they haven't stopped....YET. Of course now that I have said something they will...especially since yours were the first to actually start laying!!
lau.gif
I will brag a bit and say that my Buff Roo, Jeremy Fisher, he is just the handsomest of fellows...I love watching him strut around with his girls following after him and listening to him "coo" when he finds something noteworthy for the girls to check out!!
smile.png
So much personality in that one little guy!! The other 2 roos just follow him around like a puppy wanting to do with the big dog does, but too afraid to get close for fear the dog will bite!!
lau.gif

I hope everyone has a great day!! I am off to church and then hoping
fl.gif
to get a nap in since baby #2 decided it was time to jump, rattle and roll ALL night long!!
lau.gif
- See SCM, I told you #2 would make me pay for #1!! LOL Since December is nearing...anyone planning on going to the Smithfield show?? Exactly WHERE is it, if I may ask? I have to convince DH that we NEED to go!!

sounds like you have your hands full - I love my 2 boys with everything but I can glad we are out of the crib stage... but wait until he gets older... doesn't get any easier.. Now my boys want to wrestle each other... do they choose to do this on the floor you may ask??? NOPE
he.gif
They prefer to wrestle on the couch or bed so we can hit the floor or even better crack their heads on the coffee table... BOYS!!!!

BTW - polish are dumb!!!! I got rid of mine for just for that reason!

It looks like I'm interrupting a conversation (my apologies) but we're in Greensboro. We got our babies in mid-October and now they're a flock of rowdy teenagers who are establishing their pecking order.
