I've been a busy girl and won't even attempt catching up right now (y'all have been busy!!!) but wanted to pop in to say I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are doing well!!!! I'm busy preparing for a spontaneous trip AWAY from my family. I love them dearly of course but a dose of away time is much needed - for me and for my baby who needs a dose of seperation badly. Chickens are all doing great and laying like crazy for me! Even had my first 9 egg day - which means every last chicken laid me an egg!!!!

When is the show in Morganton?

Normally the show would be the second Sat of Feb, but Brian wants to move it to April to try and bring in more of a crowd for the Unifour show that is now in Morganton too(formally in Salisbury). That show is March 3rd. That club needs a few great shows to strengthen their budget. The FPC that runs the normal Morganton show is good and strong. The thinking is that with the 2 shows only 3 weeks apart, some folks will only come for the FPC show and not the Unifour.

Brian said he was going to send out a letter over the holidays to get the Friendship Poultry Club together for a meeting to vote, but that didn't happened.
