Hello out there to everyone in NC, I don't live there anymore. But it is my home sweet home and miss it so. We had to move away last march for my husbands work. I try to get home to visit because i miss it so much. I always thought our summers were, hot!!! well here in my new home in texas we were hard boiled for my first summer!

But I will be selling some soon to make room for some dominiques!!!! Maybe one day I'll have enough room to do what I really want!

So, I have been lurking for the last few days just reading so thought I'd say hi to everyone.......

If anyone is interested I have the follwing available:

2 Dark Brahma cockerels, approx 5 months old.

1 Buff Orpington rooster - a year old in Feb.

5 week old silkie chicks......

I was living in the Wilmington area, mostly in the last 10 years i lived in the southern coastal areas of nc from sunset beach to hampstead. I am from fayetteville though. I really miss waking up in the morning and being able to smeel the sea breeze and hear the ocean.

Good Morning!

I am hopeful this morning. I think one of my Dellie pullets is thinking about laying...she has been in that nesting box since I got home this morning. Some of the younger girls aren't helping....they think chicken pile! Hopefully when I check on them in the next hour I'll have a nice pullet egg!

My chickens better start eating more of these greens! They aren't putting the dent in that I had hoped. LOL

Hopefully I'll have time today to process my 2 BCM roosters.....its a chicken soup kinda day.
