Cute chicks Newchick, but if the aussie has yellow bottom feet (which I think I see) its a jersey giant, and since these are from a hatchery the aruacana is an ee. Hatchery's don't sell aruacana or amerucanas. But they are all very cute!

I have some young cochins and frizzle cochin pullets for sale if any one is looking for one. I was saving them for a buyer who hasn't shown up or e-mailed. 2 blue and one splash.
Looks like I may be getting the pregnant mare to foal out, Bam-bam will go to Zebulon. Doublea we are always needing someone to go out and work with the horses, ground training, evaluating, backing and tuning up. Zebulon and Wendell are the main q- barns and usually have the horses that need the most.

Thanks Ramirezfeaming. I have read a lot about Araucanas and Amerucanas NOT being true to the breed. I've read that more and more and believe they are probably all EEs, which is fine with me. Why don't they just sell them as EEs?

As for the Australorp, you have my curiousity peaked. That is what I ordered but I am sure any hatchery can mess up and grab a wrong one. She is not the biggest of all my chicks, several are much larger, so that leads me to believe she is not a JG. From what I understand she would be quite bigger than the rest, is that correct? I will check out her legs in a bit. What color should they be, or not be? lol. I will check her out.

The eggs were very cold by the time I realized she was off the nest. I cracked the eggs most never developed. A few looked like they started then died. I hope this time everything goes better.

Newchick, aussies have pink bottoms and giants have yellow bottoms. Your bigger breeds are slower to mature and most take longer to start laying as well. I don't know why they don't list them as ee's, but they will still hopefully lay you a colored egg.
