Don't forget after all this icky weather passes tomorrow will be the beginner gardening class for the day. Starts at 10:30am, PM me and I'll get you more information, location and contact info. Can't wait to see everyone who's already coming... come pick my brain and bring a friend!

Ramerizframing I appreciate your help. I kind of feel bad posting on here now with my pics and my ding dong questions when it's such a sad thread right now. I'm so sorry to everyone that has lost a rooster and anything else.

There are over a thousand messages on here and I didn't read any first or I wouldn't have jumped on here. I should've started a new thread.

But for the record, the bottom of her feet look peach. lol. Isn't peach a color of pinks and yellows together? So I basically have no idea except that she does look just like the videos of Australorp chicks in her face and body, more so than in the Giants I've seen. I guess maybe I will find out later. Also, wouldn't an EE lay colored eggs too? You said "hopefully she will lay colored eggs" if she is an EE so I was just wondering. They are very sweet so I really don't care but thought it would be fun for my son. Thanks for your help. :)

Thanks Beth. I know it must not be easy and I hope I'm taking on a hobby I can handle since I am kind of wimpy. lol. I got 28 chicks delivered, 2 died after I did EVERYTHING possible to help them live and when they died I cried. I hate being connected with any animal, loving it and then lose it. I've put down 2 dogs in my life and that was horrible!

I don't think it would be fun if I lost a hen or a roo either. Well, unless the roo was trying to peck my eyes out. lol.
