Good morning all, it has turned real chilly outside again this morning. Went out in shorts and the chickens had hats and scarves on!

Good morning all! Hope everyone stays warm on this chilly day, ugh its like a slap in the face after the 70s early yesterday!

I'm watching my daughter run around with the ducklings follow her. Let them swim for a bit last night in the tub, they had a ball.

Hi, I'm pretty new too. Only have 2 week old chicks right now. I feel like our coop might be overdoing it too but I also feel like I want them to be as happy as possible. And protected. Plus I hear "chicken math" works a lot and my 10x12 coop will probably be just right in the long run.

LOL! I try. This forum has helped tremendously. Even though sometimes it confuses me too. lol. I am battling the whole sand vs shavings in my head for the coop right now for when it's done. I have read wonderful pros and cons on both sides and guess I need to just try sand to see if it works for me and if not, go back to shavings. I really love all the people sharing their experiences on here though.
