BHep - I still say that it's not a NN but in fact a bird with a heart shaped bald patch!! LOL!! Congratulations on your hatch!!
Buttercup - congratulations on the babies!! They are so cute, although I must confess to wanting to cuddle with the white one...he/she looks so darn cute!! Reminds me of nursery rhyme: Mary's Little Lamb (even though I KNOW it's not a lamb...lol) So sweet!! Hope she waited until you got home to introduce you to these 2!!
Not much going on here today...I've been up before the chickens, so I have been trying to get things done quietly. Ever notice how when you TRY to be quiet, you end up making more noise than if you just assumed you'd be loud and obnoxious?!?
Or is that just me? LOL. Getting the hospital bag ready to go, attempting to pre-make some meals for the DH & DD, trying to stay caught up on laundry & diapers and doing some bread baking today... Hmm...can I say I have entered the nesting phase yet? I didn't with DD#1, so maybe I'm just trying to keep myself awake.
There has been little sleep around here of late and worse... little more motivation to get things done. OOps...but I have spent plenty of cuddle time with DD#1 and that's ALWAYS important, right?!?
Have a great day everyone and happy hatching/incubating to those of you taking on that endeavor!!
ETA: BAH...almost beat BHep to a post, but she got there a whole 20 seconds before me. BOO!! LOL

Caramel, decided to wait until 15 minutes after I left for work to go into full all out Labor. Luckily I had spent the morning reading and learning how to re-position a baby if necessary, and was able to walk Hunter through that with the first baby ( luckily it was only straightening his elbows) over the phone. I had just finished telling him, it could be anywhere from 5-15 minutes for her to have another one, and out popped the 2nd. Lets just say that now he has an "ego" regarding goats and is anxiously awaiting Myriah to have hers to "prove himself" once again lol. We tried milking this morning, and though we are going to get a pump, want to learn how to do it the old fashioned way.
for the use of her gorgeous bantam Cochin rooster Diablo... and some NNs I made from an EE x NN/EE and a Sizzle x NN/EE. Both hens lay pretty blue eggs, so I hope their offspring lay the blue eggs also.
