Got my babies in this morning. 6:10 am call (I was up anyway lol)
27 RIR, but some of them have stripes?
My older chicks are not pleased with me.

No major pecking or anything just a swarm of little red heads running around.
I didn't realize how big my babies had gotten.

I need help with genetics- I have some NNxEE eggs in the bator (the roo is the EE and my NN have bow ties, one NN lays pink tinted eggs and the other lays brown). What genes are dominant and how do I figure out what my chances of what chicks will have what traits.

I think it starts at 8am....and ends 2pm ??   I won't show up until 9:30-10:00.   If you stop by be sure to say "hi".   :D

Have you decided what you will be bringing along? Green mini van correct? I am trying to convince hubby to let us go. If for anything the learning experience.

Congrats! I have seven 3 week old RIR, supposedly some people say the stripe is male but I've also seen others saying this is not true. I've been trying to figure out mine but only time will tell!
