Our first coop is officially done! Can't wait to get my hens at Chickenstock in Lincolnton on th 28th! Kudos to the hubby and my father-in-law for building this thing from the ground up...all because I said I wanted one.

Well, I think my ladies are on strike, LOL. I have always just fed them the Dumor, well this last time I had to get the Layena... They have been on it for a week and the past 3 days I have gotten only 2-4 eggs instead of the 5-6 a day I have been getting.

So I have boiled up a bunch of eggs I had no room for in the fridge or bator, how many and how often do y'all feed eggs back to your chickens? I am trying to suck up.

WOW, you guys have been chatting away!!!!!

It has been crazy around here, between hatches, horses, horse shows, chicken shows, gardening and preparing for Chickenstock, not sure if I am comin or goin.

Just wondering if anyone will be going to the WCA this Sunday? Myself and the other 2 chickens are going. Is there food there or should we pack a cooler? Do we need to bring chairs? Anything else I should bring to make the day fun? DH will be specifically looking for a pygmy male goat (grown), kid friendly, gently and would be a nice companion for our a female who is very laid back and loves human contact, yet not to much towards dogs smaller than her. Oh and 2 baby guineas to go with our arrival of chicks on Monday.
