Well the chick didn't make it

but that's how it goes. The goat had her meds and now appears to be o.k. but we are keeping an eye on her. Horse is good, no signs of anything but again keeping an eye of things. Thanks for asking!

Darn it guys, I really wanted to go this weekend to the WCA... but we're going to a birthday party now we can't miss. My husband's best friend's daughter.

Oh well, eventually I have to make sure I schedule a WCA visit in again. I miss seeing everyone... and who knows. I may bring home something else special. Still wanting that roo! I miss hearing crowing around here. Too quite! hahaha

This is what I got done this past weekend. I'm exhausted right now though, so honestly, I know I didn't get very far. I have dozens of plants that still need moved and flowers I bought to add still waiting on me to plant. You can't see it, but I did plant 72 summer bulbs around that bird bath.

hey all planted some kiwi vines this weekend. Chicks are becoming chickens.. coop finished grass growing.. on to the garden !

Well, I didn't pray for patience, but maybe someone did on my behalf! Chicks are still slowly hatching. I'm up to 10 BCMs out, two olive-eggers nearly out, two Buff Orpingtons out, three Orp eggs pipped. Nothing from the remaining BCM eggs. I'll leave them a couple days and then open them up to see, since I can't candle them.

Hey everyone! Long time no talk and had ALOT of catching up to do!
this is my extra work/play time of year, my buddy down in wilmington runs an outdoor expedition business so I'm always out with him kayaking and camping... I was gone all weekend and came home to one of my Ameracauna's mounting my oldest black hen.....=( then I go outside this morning and two of them are having a crowing battle!!! I loved it....but bad news is "I'm not supposed to have roo's in the city limits"
So since I won't be here this weekend either I'll be missing the flock swap....

so if ANYONE IS INTERESTED in 2 gorgeous Ameracauna roo's I'm letting them go for a steal! and I might even have a little hen to go with....=(
