Both of the bantam pairs have started laying. Each pair gave me an egg today. Tiny little things. Like a wind egg from the Orps!

I got about 3 to 4 cups of peas from the graden today, sorry couldnt take a picture as the kids inhaled them like always!

Hey Beth, I won the dozen Serama eggs from you today the the chickenstock...but the bator is full, can we postpone getting them for about 3 weeks ?


Had so much fun, met knew people, saw old friends, gavin got his incubator, i sold some chickens, bought some more lol, and some ducks...I got to cuddle HT's sweet little boy while he took a nap in my lap

My mom is so glad Chickenstock is over. Lol we ended up having a total of 15 chickens and 4 ducks... her limit was 12 and 3. She is actually starting to get into it. She convinced me to get two little frizzles so now she has her own personal chickens. Until she gets tired of them, and then they are my chickens again lol. I didn't get all the Muscovies I wanted but I did end up with one and three Indian Runners so I'm pretty happy about how today went..

I just noticed that our peas are needing ot be picked, too. I think I'll send hubby out to pick when he gets home. We can have them with dinner.
