I figure she's due any time now. I can see kittens moving, and she's pretty restless.

Also, there's more peeps from the incubator. No pips yet. Expecting around 30 eggs today or tomorrow.

So many babies around here!!

Lost one of our cats yesterday. Ms. Jezebel was only 9 months old, no visible injuries. She had been eating fine and playing the day before.

That's when you know you have too much going on....

But, we put it in the incubator last night, along with all the others.

And there goes my meat birds............. all 12 gone !!

I did not want them in with my other birds and now I paid the price.

Well, that sure sucks!

Hubby says he has a live trap you can borrow or he could come over and shoot it for you... he is an avid Hunter... always looking for a target... LoL
If it ate 12 birds.... she has to be huge or hunting with her whole litter of kits.

Beth, just say when and the 12g and I will come over and get rid of them.

Awwww so cute! It was very nice to meet you @ chickenstock! How are the lil chicks doing?

Theyre doing great. The little ones don't let the ducklings or the EEs push them around. They have a lot of attitude for such tiny babies. I love them, thanks

Awww I'm so glad you love them! I know they'll have a wonderful home with you! You'll have to post some pic as they grow up!

I just had a visit from my neighbors....he will be here after work with another neighbor to take care my fox problem.

Moore: I found a momma cat and 4 babies under the house on saturday, I caught one of the kittens and thought the best thing would be to call animal control....I was wrong! they took the baby and didn't even attempt to catch the mean mommy =(
if I get the babies would you like one? the momma is kinda scary and I'm nervous she'll try and get at my birds so she has to go for sure but the one baby we did catch was sweet as pie!

Beth, I am so sorry about the fox! I have a feeling we have one trying to get into my cochin coop, I keep seeing dirt dug out around there, but he keeps hitting wire, and brick and stuff I buried to keep him OUT! It's obviously working, but he/it/dog/ whatever keeps coming back and doing it night after night. I don't know how much longer my set up will keep it out. How old were your meat birds?!

Here's the promised pics of my WCA lovelies....
The Serama Roo.... which was Beth's... I named him "Jasper"

The other Seramas I bought....









I know.. I know... I've got too many roosters....

but they sold 3 seramas per cage and each cage had 2 roos and 1 hen in each.... so I will be downsizing on the roos, if anyone is interested in a black one or 2... let me know.

The next 2 Seramas.... I raised from an egg... there were originally 5 of them until that blasted cold snap came through and wiped out 3 of them.

And these 2 came out of the Bantam bucket at TSC.... I am thinking seramas??? What do you guys think??
