Was good seeing everyone at WCA and fun too.
Yummy treats and good company.....
doesn't get any better than that.

It's going to be hard to go 6 weeks without
BYC and all you folks.......thinking I need a laptop or
one of those tablet things........which is better for
keeping up with internet access when traveling?

We love the pigeons......I like the trick you show me for sexing em....pretty kewl...thanks again the white ones with the little red dots remind me of a pair I had when I was a teenager.....many moons ago...lol

WCA every sunday@ 2pm....had a blast with all our friends from BYC today........our new turkies are super!!the 2 toms had a fight thou......hate to say it but poor ole "tom" is going in the freezer in the morning....so our new tom will have 5 hens then....

Are they blue colored??

There appears to be a lot of blue in there, a few blacks...and perhaps, maybe, a splash or two. I had only seen two boxes of marans, but there were three. I guess this is number three! It's all good. I'll let them grow out and then see who gets to stay and who must leave.

I KNOW...... I was out having fun at the WCA. Didn't get home until 7pm. Then had to settle in the 8 new ducklings I bought home.

Yes... everyone must go to WCA on sundays and hang out with us.... snack with us... laugh with us.... enable us... etc.

Today I aquired....



These little babies absolutely loved the duck pond.... they acted like they had never seen one before.
Although they were treated like outcasts, by the other ducks.... pffttt... "bad bad" ducks.





And of course... hubby just had to have these....



Got these too...



And this was DH's early birthday gift (b-day: June 15th)....



Tom did not like the new competition, at all.....





Turk didn't care for the way Tom was looking at his lovely Myrtle... LoL





Needless to say... this yard aint big enough for 2 tom turkeys....
so poor ole Tom is headed to freezer camp in the morning.
He's gonna make at least 2 cookings.... no doubt.

Good morning folks

it's the start to another promising week
and hoping everyone has a really good one

last week of school for the kiddies hereand
the last week of work for me till school is back in

had a great time at WCA and came home
with 2 muscovey babies, a blue and a lavender

Meg....if you end up with an extra blue maran roo
I'd be happy to rehome him or trade mine for him
we have lots of time to figure it out
