North Carolina

I just got a call from my GF " some guy just came to the door and said your rooster was really loud really early" I told her to tell him to go back out the gate he came in.....that he was trespassing..... if I had of been home we might have had a hurt fella on the property. Since when do people walk into other peoples closed property? I was shocked when she called because the family across the way breeds beagles......and they're loud 24/7. I just need to move out to the country.

Are you allowed to have roosters?

I'm not in the country. I've been looking thru ordinances and can't find anything that says I can't but nothing that says I can. I'm not worried about the rooster, he will be gone tomorrow, I'm worried that people just come onto the property thru a closed gate and no trespassing signs. If I had been home it would have been ok but no cars we there and my GF was home alone......just makes me feel funny.
The bank wouldn't give me the loan on the country house so we had to stay in city limits and I had to take a loan out from my father to get the house we're in now.

Luke, people are just rude and think they have rights to do whatever they want... walking up to your house like that with posted signs? Geez! My husband would flip if people I didn't know came this way when he wasn't around, so I don't blame you.

Sorry I'm always such a short stay, I've been working a lot and still haven't gotten into rhythm with my new schedule. Especially since the DD has homework every night. I didn't realize there was so much homework in kindergarten, but since they got rid of the no-child-left-behind program, they are a lot more demanding about where their math and reading skills have to be before they can move on.

I was wondering if anyone has gone to the fair yet? Didn't know if I could wave a hello to anyone who may be out there tomorrow? We'll be out in the morning until early afternoon. I have some jarred goods I entered and I want to see how they did in the competition. Anyone else enter anything in the fair? Love you look you up. :)

Anyways, I've posted more over on TheEasyGarden.com then here, so if you need to catch me you can send me a private message on either site.

We're offering private jam classes again since I am back to being free to teach on Saturdays!
