I am searching for people who live in North Everett and would like to be part of a chicken coop tour in the spring of 2010.
I know we have lots of people who have chickens. But each day i am surprised at how many people would like to have chickens but dont understand. I have people always tell me they would like to have the fresh eggs but don't want a rooster. They are shocked when i tell them you dont need a rooster to get eggs. So at this time.....
Let me know if you live in North Everett and would like to participate.
Once i get some folks on board with this idea... I will be looking for ideas about conducting the tour. Ideas about Bio Security, keeping the chickens safe as well as the visitors, etc. If you have been involved in a tour before - I would like to know about your experiences.
BTW - I have already contacted Rob (Nifty-Chicken) and I think he and BYC will be a supporter for this activity. I would like to make sure that I keep this community involved in the entire process.
