Most all the auctions charge 20% now and it's hard to get what you want for your birds with it being that high.
It's also off season for chickens and ducks so things are selling at VERY low prices.

If the swap is held next spring the selling prices should be at their peak and things should sell very well.
Typically things sell good from say Late February or early March depends on the weather thru May and into June if the weather is not hot but during summer it's just to hot to transport any type of birds long distance's.
 
Right now is a good time to buy. I haven't been lately, so I don't know about the selection, and it was 10% the last time I sold there in the early summer. I am still in the process of planning the spring swap. I hope to have a big announcement soon, and I will post here when I start a new thread. Mitch
