Hello!
With a run of 12 chicks we ended up with 6 roos and can only keep one. Fifty/fifty, right? They are such lovely, friendly, hand raised gentlemen. The do not crow yet, are protective of their sisters, and like to follow me around the garden.
Their coloring is gorgeous! Greens and blues and lavender sheen.
They have been organically fed and free ranged.
I would love to find a way to re-home them rather than have them end up someones dinner. Since Austrolorps are great egg layers, perhaps there is someone who wants to breed them?
Anyway, I will miss these lovely guys so much, but I cannot keep them on this tiny lot.
Pictures available upon request.
