This spring my kids and I would like to get 12 - 25 Black Australorp pullet chics.
Ideally we'd like to find them within an hour of home, Mountaintop, PA .
That way we're supporting the local chicken economy and sparing the chics the stress of shipping. [We'll pick them up.]
Can anyone recommend a source for Black Australorp chics in northeastern PA ?
I will search BYC and the Google . . . but wanted to know if anyone had personal experience / recommendations.
