I have a friend with a dog grooming setup in his store.
I have asked him if it was ok to use the tub that week.
My back is gonna love this deal!

I'm not sure if I brought up the word "chickens"

Was just acting silly because I am so excited about going.
I have stayed in many a hotel room, and know EXACTLY where you are coming from.
You won't hear a peep of trouble about this. I PROMISE.

Its funny you mention that b/c I asked my friend last year about it. At first she said yes and then b/c they don't get rabies shots she said she could'nt risk it

One of these days I'll beg the DH to get me a nice set up in on of our barns. Put that hot water on demand thingy with a raised tub and then get me a nice cage drier

Explain to your friend that birds do not get rabies, ever. Even if they did, rabies is passed only through saliva, so the nonexistent rabid chicken would have to bite another animal, not just peck it, in order to pass it. I'm amazed that the owner of a pet grooming establishment does not know enough about disease transmission to understand that birds do not get rabies.​

I am going! Just as a spectator though, I don't have any show chickens. Hopefully I will see some of you there!

Also, is Saturday the best day to go to buy stock or Sunday? I am looking for a blue cochin rooster. Thanks!

LOL silly rabbit I know this but, when I asked this of my friend I'm guessing by her answer she just didn't want to get involved

Sometimes its best to keep my trap shut than try to convince one into doing a favor if ya know what I mean. Also, I think the thought of me bringing squacking chickens near dog with a high prey drive came up in conversations too b/c she does over night boarding in the same room they bathe. So I figured you all would get a kick outta the answer I got

But, that didn't stop me from asking a local groomer that has groom your own in their shop. After reading Stoopid's response it dawned on me to ask him too!!!

So thank you Stoopid for posting that and keep your
