(Northern California) We can't keep Red! Rhode Island Red needs new home

Red is a 4-5 month old Rhode Island Red rooster. We were trying really hard to keep him because he is by far the nicest rooster I have ever met and he comes when he is called. However, he has started to crow, and since we just moved in to our house after almost a year of renovations we don't want to annoy the neighbors.



We really wish we could keep him, because we like him better then some of the hens!



We wouldn't mind dropping him off or having someone pick him up. I've never shipped a live animal before so if someone could walk me through that process, it would be ok, but I'm not comfortable doing it off of information on the internet and my own intuition.







We really want to find him a good home!

Thanks for posting! I am grateful in your interest in Red! However, a close friend of ours has offered to have him. A couple hours ago she told us she was willing to take him. Good luck in your search!
