This is my first coop design/build and it is about 95% recycled material. The floor and walls were an ATV delivery crate and the flooring as well as several 2 x 4's were 're-couped' from a local building tear-down. I bought the steel for the roof and the inside / outside walls.
I'm still not done the outside (our ground still has 2 feet of frost) but the inside is complete and the girls came home yesterday. We got ready to lays as our first attempt and after only a few hours received our first eggs
