I believe we have an infestation of Northern Fowl mites. Only one bird seems really affected by it- pale comb, decreased energy, watery green poop, absent egg production. We purchased fipronil spray for the birds, and 5% Sevin and DE for the coop. I isolated the sick hen & treated her with fipronil spray. I've been giving her Nutri Drench for 3 days, as well as boiled egg yolks and chick feed for a protein boost but her comb hasn't regained any color, although she does act a little more energetic. We cleaned out the coop and and dusted it, and treated the rest of the flock. Is there anything else I can or should be doing? Anything else to help the affected hen recover? Thanks for your input!
