The chicken swap today was lots of fun!! I'm sorry to say that I didn't get any pictures!!!!! It was really fast and furious early in the day-- lots of folks came through, and as soon as birds arrived, they were gone! I have to say, I think anything with feathers would have found a home today!
Alicia has lots of the "details" and gathered a lot of information on what people are looking for-- so we can coordinate an even better swap in the future!!!
Thanks to everyone who came! I'm sure Alicia will update as soon as she gets a chance!!

I sold all the chicks that I brought with me (and came home with a beautiful turken pullet!).
I had left my incubator at home with about 15 eggs left from the hatch, that I was almost certain were quitters...... Well, never say never-- I came home to more chicks-- about 10 or so. ---

So-- anyone in northern Maine looking for day old chicks. They're all mixed breeds and available now

I work on Saturday--- not to mention Oxford would be a 5 hour ride one way!!! Not sure I'll ever make it to an Oxford one unless I'm traveling to Mass some weekend!! Have fun there and TAKE PICTURES!! I never got a chance to!
