Northern Michigan 1st Annual Poultry Fest 2012 - FOOD and ATTENDEES

I don't know what I am bringing but since we have a cabin in Lovells, it shouldn't be hard to whipe something up. I would love t smoke some chicken...if I can borrow my daughters smoker.

I will be searching DS computer to see if we have pics of the pavillion. I know we have pics of the playground that is on the other side of the building.

I have TONS of Lovells pictures, but they are all of the N. Branch, birds, bugs, etc. lol! I don't really think I have any pics. of any of the buildings up there. Huh, never thought about that before....Lol.

Had to repost this because I can't edit my first post any more, Hopefully, this will be seen.

Directions: From I -75:

The route I take is 75 straight up, The exit past the main Grayling exit, I believe it's the Fredric exit, is where I exit the express way. Turn right and that puts you on 612 heading towards Lovells. This road winds all over the place with a number of decent hills. Once you get into Lovells (there is a "welcome to Lovells" sign), if you start looking to your left, you will see a playground and a building (fire hall, twp. hall, museum, library, etc.) and that playground is Douglas park.
I will make sure that there are a number of clear signs for everyone to follow.

From County Rd F-97:

We are in Lapeer County and come up thru St. Helen. We take F97 north out of St. Helen. It appears to end on F32 but turn right and it picks back up. Contine north right into Lovells.
From our house in Lapeer county it takes abt 3 hrs to get there.

I will bring a big pan of brownies and maybe some fresh salsa depending on what's in the garden still. I hope to bring someone with me but at this point not sure who!
Grrr. I made a batch of zucchini brownies a couple of weeks ago and love them so much that I just made another batchso thats what I was thinking. I guess I'll have to fine something else.

Is anyone bringing a meat dish. Could anyone come up early and bring a smoker and I would smoke a couple of my meat birds.
