Hi,

I've just become the owner of 6 Chinese Painted Quail

They are settling into the Aviary with my Kakariki, I am a bit concerned because they seem to spend a lot of time 'squabbling' which can get a bit viscious occassionally at other times they huddle up together all cosy. They are all (as far as I know) males and had lived together prior to me getting them and I did read somewhere that all males could live together but now I'm not so sure. Has anyone any thoughts on this?

One other thing - they crow in the middle of the night (2AM and 4AM this morning) is this usual? (no crowing during daylight hours at all!
