Yeah, the lack of crest makes me think she’s a mixed. I don’t know anything about low quality vs. mixed breeds. I believe she hatched out of a faint blue egg in the “rainbow” pack. Can I expect her eggs to be the same?

If she hatched from a blue egg, she likely (but not guaranteed) has a blue gene, so she probably will lay blue or green depending on who dad is

These are mine. I see a difference. Different parentage or perhaps a mixed breed. I got my first blue egg yesterday.

How old are they? Mine is 25 wks and still waiting for the first egg!

One of mine started at 23 weeks. The other hasn't layed yet at 26 weeks.

Ok! One day before 26 weeks we got our first egg!! A very pale blue egg! Yay! I’m so happy!
