Not a cream legbar??

Ordered what was supposed to be a cream legbar hen but at 17 weeks I’m not seeing a crest so did I receive the wrong breed or maybe a rooster instead? Just looking for some insight before contacting the hatchery I purchased from.

It may be a cream Legbar type Easter egger instead of a purebred CL.

I think there are some strains of Cream Legbars that aren’t created, right?

She (yes a pullet) has the legbar coloring. Guess you will know more when she starts to lay (egg color).

She's really bright - a lot lighter than mine (they are 18 wks).
Don't think it's the sun either.

Most hatchery CCL look like these, darker hackles. They are suppose to have the more cream colored hackles though, that is where the name stems from.
