i finally popped back in after hmmmmm ... like 10yrs??? thanks to everyone who tolerated me in 2013 lol
after 25yrs of her owning chickens, i finally got my mom her dream breeds for christmas (silkies, frizzles) and they'll be coming in july. so excited! they'll be added to our current mixed-breed bantam flock (6 girls and a couple of soon-to-be gone roosters)

Just culled the majority of my flock yesterday. Kept 1 Lav Ameraucana roo, 2 blue EEs, 2 Seramas, and a Cochin bantam. Planning on breeding more EEs, getting a roo for the Seramas, and hopefully some fancy Wyandottes.
