So we purchased 6 Sapphire Sky pullets from TSC on 3/30/25. It took me a couple days to realize 1 was not like the others. We also purchased 3 Silver Laced Wyandotte from Family Farm and Home that same day (plus others). This chick had similar markings to the Wyandotte's, but brown where they were black. This particular chick I named Turkey since the first feathers that came in reminded me of a turkey tail. Now I don't know if Townline Hatchery had a wrong chick in the batch or if TSC got them mixed up. The only pullets they had in stock while we were there were the Sapphire Sky.
I need your opinion on what you think it might be, and also if you think it is a roo. Currently not crowing, but I am just waiting for it to happen. I really think it is a cockerel. I also believe it to be an Easter Egger. It would make my day if it turned out to be a pullet. I already have a couple other roos in the batch, and would not be able to keep all of them. (I know 2 for sure, and one possible other)
