Her egg was huge! But did you read about Mrs. Stamsteads 340gm egg with 5 yolks further down in the article???? Holy Moley! I have to wonder if the Hen recovered from laying that one or if it was the last egg she ever laid! Just think that's well over double the size of the egg in the picture......

That egg must have been passed around at the Village pub don't you think? No wonder the record has held since the 1800's.
