I have never had wyandottes before so I am not really sure what they are supposed to look like other than that I know they are a heavy bird.
My young rooster, about 5 months old, has a weird look to him like his back and tail lean to one side instead of being straight..
I am pretty sure we do have Marek's out here as I have had quite a few die, but that was weeks ago so I guess all my birds are ok for now. Yes I know that Marek's doesn't go away and they will always have it.
I am posting pictures in comments below, is this normal & if not did Marek's cause this?

He may have scoliosis or roach back. Wry tail can be a common birth defect. Those birds should not be bred.

would that "heal" him or will he always be like that? Sometimes he drops his wings but that could be because I have Marek's in my flock I guess..
If I were to hatch chicks out of him would they have it as well?

Well that is just freaking great. I had really wanted a pair of BLRW's to breed & now I have them but something is wrong with one. & on top of that Marek's is in my flock so I guess what is the point anyway... He was perfectly fine as a chick it is just the bigger he got he developed a humpback. Another chick out of the BLRW's I got from a breeder had a scissor beak & wound up dying.. I wonder if that is related..
