not an emergency dead hen no clue how

One of my hens died 2 days ago and I can't figure it out. Granted I am new, but no symptoms, ill behavior, lack of eating/drinking. The only thing that sticks out is feather picking and I know she wasn't alone in doing it to herself because back feathers picked and never returned. I woke up to go feed and she was gone. Still warm. She was in the nest box but I had often seen her sleeping with the flock. Can anyone think of anything? Vicki
