(not an emergency) Older wound on hen's chest *graphic pic

Slightly older wound on hen's chest, no fresh blood so not sure when it happened --this is HeadHen, I've got a thread just for her and her crop issues.

Do we just watch and wait, see if it goes down around the initial wound? It doesn't look like there's anything we can do, Even though it looks puss-y, it's still squishy.

We cleaned it and put her crop bra back on her and she was glad to leave me in the dust lol

Looks like a breast blister.

Is the crop bra rubbing on it? Often you see a breast blister where the bird is putting pressure on the tissue when roosting. Similar to a pressure sore.

If it feels like it has pus in it, then you probably need to clean it out.
