Mine was 32. She didn't have enough teeth left to keep weight on unfortunately. It was a tough decision. I originally adopted her from the adopt a burro program put on by the BLM for 75 dollars. I have her two boys who aren't spring chickens either at 21 and 22 years old.

Donkeys are goofy critters. They are like dogs in an equine body.
