Not complete, but getting there!

This is my first time building, well, anything! It's not complete (gotta get some more hardware cloth and finish installing the nesting boxes and roosts) but this started as an overgrown patch of weeds and some lumber. So excited for my chickies to move into it in a few weeks.

Im getting ready to move my chicks in their new home too! Its so fun isn't it! Please share pics when its complete!

I'll definitely update with my progress! I've got to do the interior decorating and some landscaping, haha! We're about 3-4 weeks away from moving in, but making progress nonetheless!

I think your gonna want to add some extra ventilation and maybe somewhere some more light can come in. Especially if they have to stay in there for awhile they will need some light and lots of ventilation.

I've got more ventilation on the sides that you can't see - definitely lots of air circulation!

And we're getting shingles from the roof - leftovers from another project, so I have to pick them up this weekend from my parents.

Might want to put proper rafters under that plywood...then you can increase the roof over hangs add fascia and have soffit venting.
