Not completely done growing sunflower seeds eaten,,,,

Do not let your hens eat them. One hen, goodness knows why, ate a whole head of them and now she has got the hershey squirts bad

I have been feeding mine the seeds straight off the flowers, and they haven't had a problem with them.But I also mix bread with the treats so maybe they don't get to many of the fresh sunflower seeds. marrie
